1. Say Hello

Once you fill out the form below, we’ll hop on a quick phone call to get to know each other a bit better. This is where I learn more about your family, your vision for the session, and what matters most to you. I’ll walk you through how my process works, answer any questions you have, and help you decide if we’re a great fit. It’s relaxed, friendly, and designed to set you at ease from the very beginning.

Next, we’ll meet in person. You will get to see where the magic happens in my studio. During this consultation, we’ll plan the session together. We’ll go through my client closet and choose your outfits, talk about your families wardrobe options and how you’d love to display your images in your home. I’ll show you artwork samples, investment details, and help you start dreaming about what your finished pieces will look like.

3. The Session

Newborn sessions are slow-paced, gentle, and entirely baby-led. We’ll create a peaceful space where your baby can be calm, cozy, and safe. I’ll guide you and your family through natural poses that highlight your connection, and we’ll take breaks whenever needed—for feeding, soothing, or just snuggling. My studio is stocked with soft wraps, simple props, and everything needed to keep baby comfortable. These early days go by so quickly, and my goal is to preserve them in a way that feels timeless, tender, and real.

4. The Ordering Appointment

About 1–2 weeks after your session, we’ll meet again for your ordering appointment. I’ll reveal your beautiful gallery and help you choose your favorite images. From there, I’ll guide you through selecting the perfect artwork for your home—whether it’s a custom album, a wall gallery, or gift prints for family. You won’t have to make a single decision alone; I’ll be right there to make it easy and enjoyable.

5. Bringing It All Home

Once your artwork is handcrafted and ready, I’ll let you know it’s time for pickup! This is one of my favorite moments—seeing you hold your memories in your hands, knowing they’ll be cherished for years to come. Everything will be beautifully packaged and ready to enjoy, with installation guidance or help available if needed. It’s the final step in the process, but the beginning of a lifetime of joy every time you pass your photos on the wall.

Portrait Investment Details

Your session fee begins at $195 and covers everything that goes into creating an experience worth remembering. Your planning consultation, your time in the studio, access to our full wardrobe and styling closet, and your in-person ordering appointment are all included.

The artwork and products you take home are chosen and invested in separately. Most families invest between $800 and $4,000 depending on how they want to preserve this season of life. We offer heirloom wall art, albums, and matted portraits, each paired with the matching digital files.

These are not images you'll forget about in a folder on your phone. They are pieces you'll walk past every day and feel something.

"I had my newborn photos done with Kaitlyn today. She was very patient and gentle with my newborn. She tried really hard getting as many different poses and setups even though my little one did not want to stay asleep. I really like that she was communicative throughout the process."

"Our newborn session with Kaitlyn was such a wonderful experience! She made everything feel effortless, guiding us through each step and handling our baby with so much care. Watching her work was incredible, and the final images completely blew us away. Having these portraits as artwork in our home is something we’ll cherish forever. If you’re looking for a photographer who truly knows how to capture these moments beautifully, Kaitlyn is the one!"

Q: When is the best time to schedule my newborn session?

A: It’s best to book your newborn session during your second or third trimester to ensure availability. Sessions are typically held when your baby is 7-21 days old to capture those sleepy, curled-up poses.

Q: Do you provide props and outfits for the session?

A: Yes! I have a carefully curated collection of wraps, outfits, and props to create timeless and beautifully styled images. You don’t need to bring anything for baby, but you’re welcome to include sentimental items if you’d like.

Q: What is the investment for a newborn session?

A: Each session is completely custom, depending on the artwork or albums you choose. I offer a variety of heirloom-quality products at all price points, from matted prints to statement wall art and luxury albums. This allows you to select what best fits your home and style.
